Jack Betty is the stage name of David Bryant Nolan, a musician who creates pop-rock songs. David discovered his strong connection in music when he was very small. David loved singing and playing guitar and piano and started performing in public in grade 6.
David loved experimenting with different music genres. He stuck with pop-rock style and created a pop-rock band in middle school. He was the frontman and the lead guitar player in that band.
The band had significant success, played in many venues throughout the western united states, and even landed a gig on the Vans Warped Tour and played with several large bands in the genre.
Other than music, David loves his family of his beautiful wife Alexis and six beautiful children.
The song “My Distraction” is about a modern love story. He says, “You are my distraction” in the song hoping for relief in life’s struggles from his lover. As we think, this song is made especially for her wife. If not wife, who else comes to give relief from life problems?
