David Bryant Nolan (stage name “Jack Betty”) exposed his strong connection to singing, piano and guitar quick in life, publicly performing original music opening in the 6th grade. Trialling in multiple musical genres, Betty formed a pop-rock/pop-punk band in middle school, where he was the frontman and lead guitar player. The orchestra played in many venues throughout the Western United States over the resultant years and even hit a gig on the Vans Warped Tour and performed with several large orchestras in the genre.
After serving a two-year volunteer service outreach mission, Betty knew it would be difficult to support a growing family on an “indie musician salary”. So he put his same high-level grit into his school studies, completing both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business while working full-time. Jack Betty’s signature Pop-Rock sound is authentic, original, memorable and bold. His expert piano compositions perfectly complement his unforgettable vocals, while his multi-instrument expertise provides song types/styles for every listener!
