Anthony Dravon HIll, better known by his stage name Tony Blonko, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.
Anthony Hill was born on August 10, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tony has had a tumultuous upbringing. Tony’s mother was murdered when he was about nine years old, and her murder remains unsolved. His father, Donald, was in and out of his childhood. After his mother’s death, he stayed with his stepfather, James Moore Sr. Due to addiction, he was ultimately raised by his grandmother Alice Hill and his grandfather Lester Bridges. From a young age, Tony has had the odds stacked against him. Growing up without a mother not only affected him mentally but physically as well. Tony turned to the streets, which ultimately put him in a youth centre and incarcerated for the first time at thirteen. Tony again turned to music as an outlet from life’s hardships. Legal issues would continue throughout his adolescence into adulthood. In 2015, Tony was arrested for trapping. In 2017, Tony was sentenced to three years in state prison, and during that time, he continued to write music and conduct his music business. When he was released in 2019, he produced those lyrics he wrote on paper into songs thirty-one months later.
Tony has become one of the most versatile artists in the game. He is never afraid to express his poetic nature with rhythm and style. He is known for his lyrical punchlines and outside the box thinking. Tony’s music has been referred to as a “breeze of fresh air”, “different”. He is always willing to put on for the love of music.
