DXSHAWN Is run by a 19-year-old recording artist from Edmonton Alberta and this amazing talented soul knows how to catch people’s heart through his amazing music.
Each and everything in this wonderful thing about this music in some ways, aside from the superb musicianship and skill – the creative freedom of it all. These ongoing audio experiences offer genuine escapism from our day-to-day lives. This piece in particular really transports you to some other place in your mind, making you feel as if you’re right there, soaking up the scenery and the good vibes in a pop music bar on the other side of town, or the world for that matter. In another instance, however, you could quite easily find yourself surrounded by this awesome music, appropriately standing perfectly still in an open park or field as the sounds and sights of the natural world play out around you. The magic is in the possibility, the freedom of the sound.
It’s a pleasure to stumble upon this amazing soul as there’s something about his music that is unfamiliar and intriguing, some of the ideas take a while to draw in; the pace of the music leaves you wondering what just happened. On the contrary, there’s also something comfortingly nostalgic about it, for me at least. Both instances fuse well in making his sound something fresh and unquestionably beautiful to listen to.
