Wes Dean is a new recording artist, although he is not a new musician. He was born and reared in Virginia, USA, and has been a musician his entire life, beginning with piano lessons at the age of six and progressing through the trumpet, flugelhorn, and French horn in high school band. He has played guitar for fun since his college days, initially acoustic and then electric for the previous nine years. He frequently wrote tunes merely for pleasure. He created his debut release, “Movin’ On,” earlier this year, a song about life and living without fear.
He “had a feeling” that this song was unique and that he needed to do something to share it with people. His intuition took him to Cue Recording, where he sang and played guitar on Movin’ On. Buddy Speir’s guitar, Tyler Schafer’s drums, and Holly Montgomery’s bass round out the exceptional studio artists. Movin’ On is the end product. Wes Dean wishes to inspire people to “not be frightened to live their lives.”
