Cosmic, JAY STAXX’s latest single, has a positive and uplifting feel to it; you immediately become attached to the sound of the singer’s voice, and you can count on it to explore the concepts compellingly.
Loyalty Over Royalty Records’ Co-Founder and Artist, Jay Staxx. It’s a San Diego family business, although he’s originally from St. Louis. Jay Staxx is his stage name, but his followers also know him as Diaper Man. He acts, raps, and dances.
Jay Staxx has been rapping and dancing for the past three years. He was a big dancer. He garnered a significant following in October 2018 for his part as Diaper Man, which went viral in numerous media outlets.
Then, in April of this year, his mother died. He took it hard because he hadn’t seen her in five years, and their last encounter was when he took her to one of Los Angeles’ mansion parties. Before she died, he had given up on all he had worked so hard for, but now “he is back like Gucci Mane.”
The roots of the genre are evident, that voice has personality, and these bars continue to dazzle as the track proceeds. Still, the tune’s backbone of authenticity in the rhythm and the force of the soundscape assist in solidifying the track as more than deserving of its place within hip hop.
The piece’s structure is provided by a swift vocal flow, which works flawlessly – bringing the music from good to fantastic in a natural and seemingly effortless manner. A consistently outstanding flow and multiple strikes of brilliant and intriguing wordplay are among the highlights.
Nothing appears to be particularly familiar or borrowed from elsewhere; rather, new ideas emerge; modern lyricism has a distinct personality.
Cosmic grows increasingly intense and mind-blowing as you progress through the show’s levels of difficulty. The final verse is just incredible, and it brings the entire experience and goal of the song to a beautiful conclusion.
You’ll be even more compelled after giving it another listen—this is an impressive musician with an unquestionable level of ability as a rapper and songwriter.
