LOSSES by J French

J French, an Oklahoma City-based rapper, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, exhibits the best of his abilities on his dreamy soundscape “LOSSES.” The single is an appropriate introduction, with a soft beat complimented by a gentle and organic saxophone theme that lingers delicately in the air. The artist then pours his flow and tale into the procedure.

J French, a rapper, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Oklahoma City, has completed what appears to be a lifetime’s worth of music industry experience. Since crafting his first rhyme to Devin The Dude’s “Don’t Wait” at the age of 12, he has created his own publishing company and collaborated with various rappers in the Oklahoma-Texas and Los Angeles scenes, including RC & The Gritz, Erykah Badu’s official band, and members of TDE. Despite everything, J French remains as cool as a cucumber. He rigorously sticks to a self-imposed necessity to create music from the soul. “I’m determined to be heard,” French says.

“LOSSES” is a vibrant, engaging, and refreshing track — being able to listen at total volume is a treasured part of the experience. A superbly high production quality allows the soundscape to fill the space in the correct way – that electronic beat pulses softly while cascading synth riffs and a meandering saxophone melody shower down among the outer borders all the way long.

The song has familiarity in terms of the basic sound of modern hip hop – the vocal enhancements, the rhythm, the simplicity – but it also has just enough of that originality to make you feel like you’ve exposed something new and exciting.

Things should only improve when hard effort and talent come together to understand and appreciate the trade.

This song has mellow confidence and bounces to it that will instantly connect with listeners. For such, the vocal components provide a new leader. The entire system works well and performs its job perfectly.
